II Corinthians 3:18 – “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”             Words are powerful.   We must learn to speak God’s Word into every circumstance we face in life.   The Scriptures have the power to bring transformation.   Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The Lord spoke these words to Joshua, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8). We are transformed when we are obedient to the Word of God. Luke 11:28 records th

Habakkuk 2:1 - 3 – “I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.’”           At the beginning of each year I pray and ask the Lord for prophetic direction for the coming year.  Revelation 2:11 instructs ,  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” This command is repeated 15 times in the New Testament.  We need prophetic insight and direction for the times we live in.            The Bible teaches that we should seek after and value prophetic direction.  In Jeremiah 33:3 the Scriptures declare ,  “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, whi

Matthew 12:37 – “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Our words are important.   The words we speak to our children and others can determine their destiny.   We learn in Matthew 12:34, “….  for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” Our words should be encouraging and uplifting. Ephesians 4:29 instructs, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” The Bible has a great deal to say about the words we use. ·       Proverbs 15:4 from the New Living Translation , “Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.” ·       Proverbs 18:4 – “The words of a man’s mouth  are  deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom  is  a flowing brook.” ·       Proverbs 20:15 – “There is gold and a multitude of rubies, But the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.” ·       1 Peter 3:10 – “For He who would love life And see good

Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He gave the great commission.   We are called to go into all the world and make disciples of the nations.   Acts 1:8 says, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”             What is the GIVE Initiative?
