Outspoken

Proverbs 6:2 – “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” We must learn how to speak the Word of God in faith over every circumstance we face.   What does the Word of God say about your circumstances?   We learn in Psalms 119:105, “Your word  is  a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”   We are not to be outspoken in a rude way, but about the things of God.   The Apostle Paul wrote these words to the church at Rome in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” We must be careful not to come in agreement with the enemy with our words.   Psalms 23:4 says, “I will fear no evil, for you are with me Lord, Your Word and Your Spirit comfort me.”   The writer of Proverbs gives these instructions in Proverbs 21:23, “Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.” Ou

Brave

Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” The word brave is defined as “ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage.” It takes bravery to stand in faith against adverse circumstances. We are called to be bold and strong in the things of God.   Ephesians 6:10 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” We are involved in a spiritual conflict. We are called to be soldiers of the cross in the army of God.   II Timothy 2:3-4 says, “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” This battle is not a physical battle to be fought with physical weapons.   II Corinthians 10:4 reads, “For the weapons of our warfare  are  not

Bold Faith

Proverbs 28:1 – “The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.”        The early New Testament church faced persecution, prison, and even martyrdom.   How did the church respond to these threats?   They were a people who were bold in the things of God.   Listen to their response to persecution in Acts 4:29, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all  bold ness they may speak Your word.”             You are called to be bold in the things of God.   It is the power of the Holy Spirit Who empowers you to be bold in the things of God. One of the benefits of being filled with the Holy Spirit is to be empowered to be a bold effective witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.   It is time to be bold in your faith.   Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith  it is  impossible to please  Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and  that  He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
