We Serve a Merciful God

Psalms 13:5-6 – “But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.”             The God we love is a God of mercy.   It is because of His mercy we know Him and love Him.   The Apostle John writes in 1 John 4:19, “We love Him because He first loved us.”   Exodus 34:7 says, “keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin.” The Lord spoke these words to Moses when He revealed Himself to Him on Mount Sinai in Exodus 34:6, “And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.” When you experience salvation, you become a recipient of the mercy of God. The following Scriptures give a description of the mercy of God: ·       Psalms 25:6 says, “God’s mercy is tender.” ·       In Isaiah 54:7 says, “God’s mercy is great.” ·       Isaiah 55:3 says, “God’s mercy is sure.”

There will be doors of opportu
