Four Things You Should Know About Transition

Four Things You Should Know About Transition As the Body of Christ transitions into a season of new beginnings there are four important things that we should know about transition. 1. Confusion during transitional times is normal. One of the greatest enemies to moving into the new things that God has for us as believers is a carnal mindset. Too many in the Body of Christ never realize their destiny or move into the new seasons of God because they get locked into a certain mindset. Romans 8:7 - tells us, "the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can be." We must put aside our old carnal mind-sets if we are going to make it through the narrow place of transition. Transitions have a way of changing our mind-sets. Some of us could move to a new level of God's glory if we would just allow God to change our mind-sets. The carnal mind resists change. Transitioning into a New Season

The New Testament Church is transitioning into a new season. 2008 will be a New Season of New Beginnings. We are entering a time when many of the prophetic promises that God has made to us will be fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 reads, "Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." It means that God continually brings us into a new and deeper level in our relationship with Him. God longs to bring us into a new realm of glory. What is He doing in His church today? He is bringing us from grief to glory. He is bringing us out of the wilderness and into the Land of Promise. As beli

Political Correctness

Merry Christmas. Those are refreshing words to hear in our politically correct world. I would have never believed that I would see a day when so many of our traditions would be under assault. Our nation is a land of opportunity and God has richly blessed us. There is abundance everywhere we turn and there is an element in our society that wants to destroy what has made us great. The world we live in is much the same as the world that Christ was born into. His birth didn't make the headlines and was definitely not politically correct. As you know Herod had all the young children killed to preserve His throne. His political correctness failed and ours will as well. Things forever changed that first Christmas when the Christ was born and the world has never been the same. He continues to work in the hearts and lives of men today. A massive revival is sweeping across our world and will soon touch our nation as well. It hasn't made the headlines and most likely will b
