The Month of Adar - Overcoming Haman's Decrees

For a number of years I have been studying and praying for insight into how the Lord moves and works in time. We learn in 1 Chronicles 12:32 the Sons of Issachar had an understanding of the times and knew what Israel ought to do.  They were masters of the Hebrew calendar.   In  Exodus 12:2  the Lord established the Hebrew calendar.  “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.”  The Hebrew calendar begins at Passover in the month of Nissan.  This calendar was God ordained and introduced in the Bible.  The Hebrew Calendar is both a religious calendar and a civil calendar. The Religious year begins at Passover in the month of Nissan and the civil year begins at Rosh Ha Shana in the month of Tishri. To better understand how God moves in time and works in our lives you can study the Hebrew calendar and the patterns that have been established in the Word of God.  Our Gregorian calendar is on a different time cycle than the Word

Contending for Your Time of Visitation

1 Peter 2:12 – “Having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.”             One of Satan’s favorite tactics is to slander the believer.   The Apostle Peter warned that we would be slandered and persecuted by evildoers.   1 Peter 2:12 from the New American Standard Version reads, “Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation.”               The word slander is an interesting word.   The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia defines slander as “an accusation maliciously uttered, with the purpose or effect of damaging the reputation of another. As a rule it is a false charge; but it may be a truth circulated insidiously and with a hostile purpose.” [i] Pamela Rose Williams writes
