  Joy is a response of the heart stemming from the hope that is produced when the Holy Spirit fills us with love. ‘Joy’ and ‘grace’ are closely related in translation. We have joy because of the grace of God. When we begin to value God’s presence and promises, we are released by His love into His grace and filled with joy. This is the process of faith. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of comfort and joy. Regardless of what life brings our way, we can remain joyful and comforted knowing the Holy Spirit is with us and will supply our needs.             During the 15 th century, a city of significance would have walls around the perimeter. The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven

Isaiah 22:22 – “The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open; and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open.” God is giving specific keys to His people in this season.   These keys are the keys to the kingdom Jesus promised in Matthew 16:19, “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”   These keys will be used to unlock the unfulfilled promises in the past, and to unlock the doors of access to our future.   There are three things keys represents in the scriptures.   The first is authority.   Luke 19:10 says, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”   In Isaiah 22:22 God promises to put the key to the House of David into the hands of Eliakim.   In...
