A Supernatural Life

We serve a supernatural Savior. Jesus Christ came to this fallen planet to “destroy the works of the devil.” He is our supernatural Savior.  Hebrews 2:4 says, “And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose.” Throughout the four Gospels Jesus Christ performed many supernatural miracles:   •          He healed the sick  •          He opened blinded eyes •          He cleansed the leper •          He made the lame to walk again •          He restored the broken  •          He raised the dead back to life again •   ...

A Supernatural Savior

Malachi 3:6 – “For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”             We serve a God who does not change. When everything around us is changing, He does not change. James the half-brother of Jesus writes in James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Note the words, “with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” The New Living Translation says, “He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”                     The governments of men rise and fall. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” He is an ...

What is God saying? He is saying, “in the midst of chaotic times and shaking I have better for my children.” We do not have to live in fear, but we can pray in faith and expect to experience better things.                   Dictionary.com defines the word better as follows: 1.     “to increase the good qualities of; make better; improve: 2.     to improve upon; surpass; exceed:” The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines better as “to make more tolerable or acceptable, to make more complete or perfect, and to surpass in excellence.”   ...
