  John 8:58 – “Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”             In Exodus 3 Moses encounters the Angel of the Lord in a burning bush. The story is recorded in Exodus 3:1-2, “Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush  was  not consumed.” The Angel of the Lord or the “Angel of Jehovah,” is used to describe a pre-Bethlehem appearance of Christ. We know this because in Exodus 3:5 He instructs Moses to remove his sandals because He is standing on holy ground. Revelation 22:8-9 reveals that angels are not be worshipped.        ...
