  Acts 2:1-4 – “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.   And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.   Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.   And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”             God gave birth to the New Testament Church on the Day of Pentecost. He poured out His power. The first Pentecost is recorded in Exodus 19. God met with the children of Israel on Mount Sinai and He gave them the Torah. When He descended, He put on a demonstration of His mighty power. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.  Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” God is calling His people back to Pentecost. I am not sure about how you feel, but I am believing for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit like the early New Testament church experienced beginning on the day of Pentecost. What is meant by the term, “back to Pentecost?” It is a prayer for God’s intervention, bringing transformation. I have heard it said many times, “we cannot finish in the flesh what God began in the Spirit.”  We cannot accomplish our assignment without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.   Romans 12:1-2 – “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” The power of transformation is the Holy Spirit working in and through His covenant people. Acts 1:8 says, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” He is positioning you for divine impact. If we are going to experience God’s best and realize our destiny in Christ, we must experience transformation. To make an impact we must be filled with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 says, “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” Divine impact only comes through a partners...
