Prayer of Agreement for the Gathering - Beth Bailey

Prayer of agreement for the Gathering: Dear Father, We humble ourselves before Your mighty name. We repent of anything that would prove to hinder what You want to do in our lives. We take the posture of faith and declare Your Lordship over Kingsway. Every evil spirit that seeks to hinder or bind us has to pass us by today. We refuse and break agreement with anything contrary to what Your word says You have ordained for us in the fulfillment of the plans of a future and a hope, of good and not evil. We rest in the purity of what You are doing. We can do all things through You. We put on new garments of praise for the breakthrough You desire to bring. We cooperate with what You are doing. We decree that the right supply is being sent for every spiritual blessing bringing us into a rich fulfullment of You. We ask that You visit us, enrich us, provide for us, prepare us, water us, settle us, make us, and bless us; You, our own God, will bless us. Praise awaits You as You answer us with You...

Preparing the Way of the Lord Part Two - Repentance

Recently as I was praying, I kept hearing the words, “Prepare the Way of the Lord.” Why do we need to prepare the way of the Lord? We must prepare for a visitation from the Lord. Joshua spoke to the children of Israel in Joshua 3:5 and instructed them to "sanctify yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." To sanctify means to be set apart. In sanctification we are set apart from sin, and set apart unto God. He sanctifies us for a holy purpose. Joshua instructed the children of Israel to prepare for a visitation from the Lord. This is a day of preparation. God is visiting His people and we must prepare ourselves for His holy visitation. John the Baptist's assignment was to prepare the way of the Lord. He was a voice crying out in the wilderness. His message is found in Matthew 3:1– 2 - “In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” The Word Wealth of the ...

Prepare the Way of the Lord

In Matthew 3:1-3 we are introduced to John the Baptist. He is a voice crying out in the wilderness. His assignment was to be a forerunner to Christ. The Bible says that He was to prepare the way of the Lord. Jesus said this about John the Baptist in Luke 7:28 – “For I say to you, among those borne of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” Jesus recognized John the Baptist as a prophet. As a matter of fact He said, "there is not a greater prophet than John. In the Old Testament both Moses and Elijah were revered. Moses was used of the Lord as a deliverer and prophesied that one greater than him would come. This was a prophecy of the coming Messiah. Elijah was known as the prophet of the supernatural. He called fire down out of heaven and stood up against the worship of Baal that had infiltrated Israel. God used this great prophet to call Israel back to the worship of Jehovah. The Lord us...

Socialize or Evangelize

The Apostle Paul wrote the following prophetic words that describe our day to His young son in the faith, Timothy. “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5). We are living in perilous times. The Apostle prophetically wrote the headlines that we read in our newspapers today. The Church today must make a choice. Are we going to be a people who have a form of godliness and deny its power, or are we going to be a supernatural people? Our mandate is clear. Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. In Mark 16:15 – 18 - And He said to them, “Go into all th...

An Approaching Storm

Recently the Lord spoke the following to me about the coming storm: In the early morning hours several weeks ago the Lord began to speak to me about a two-part storm. He told me that there was a break in the clouds. The sun had broken through, but it was only temporary, because the second part of the storm was coming. It would have a different intensity. The second part of the storm would be different than the first. The picture that I received was like looking at the clouds and a storm on radar. I saw the clouds and the turbulence of the first storm. I saw the break in the clouds, and then the approaching second storm. I asked the Lord was this two different storms? He said, “No, it was the same storm in two parts.” The first storm has passed, but there is another part of the storm to come.” His instructions were as follows: 1. Do not fear the storm. He is in the storm and His glory will be revealed in the storm. 2. Get into position. Take the posture of faith. Don’t be moved by what ...

Wholeness

God desire to bring each of us into wholeness. The Bible teaches in Hebrews 13:20-21 “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, verse 21 – “make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” God desires to make you whole. He longs to bring us into wholeness. The Bible reveals Him as a healer. He is our great physician. Exodus 15:26 says, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.” The Psalmist writes in Psalms 103:3 - “Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.” He is our deliverer. He is our Savior, and He longs to do more th...

Entering Into 2009 - Part Three - Alignment

As I was meditating and praying for the upcoming New Year the Lord gave me four different phrases that will be important in the coming year. The first was "Seismic Shifts." I wrote about this in "Entering Into 2009 - Part Two." In this session I want to talk about coming into proper alignment. We must come into proper alignment this year. Pastor Mark Pfiefer writes in his book, “ Alignment.” “What do a chiropractor and a mechanic have in common? They both understand the importance of Alignment. One aligns the spine for the health of the body while the other aligns the car for better tire wear and handling. The reason why many churches are unhealthy and leaders are wearing themselves out is because they are not in alignment.” I believe that we must experience realignment. Alignment is a key word for the coming year. You will be hearing a great deal in the coming year about alignment and realignment. I believe that there are four things that are important in being i...
