God desire to bring each of us into wholeness. The Bible teaches in Hebrews 13:20-21 “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, verse 21 – “make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
God desires to make you whole. He longs to bring us into wholeness. The Bible reveals Him as a healer. He is our great physician. Exodus 15:26 says, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.” The Psalmist writes in Psalms 103:3 - “Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.”
He is our deliverer. He is our Savior, and He longs to do more than just heal our physical bodies. He longs to make us whole. The Apostle Paul wrote these words in I Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
In Philippians 1:6 the Apostle Paul writes, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” The Lord desires to do a finishing work in our lives. He longs to make us whole, and complete in Him. As I was praying and meditating on wholeness I started to think about the opposite of wholeness, which is brokenness. Most of us have been broken by life. The church and the world around us is filled with broken people.
There is good news today, "God specializes in repairing broken things." God loves broken things. He specializes in repairing, and reshaping those things that have been broken.
We are repelled by brokenness. We throw away and discard broken things. Many times we even throw away broken people. The good news is that Heaven is drawn to our brokenness. The Bible says in Psalms 51:17 - “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart - These, O God, You will not despise.” Our Lord is drawn to your brokenness and contrition. He will come to the fractured and broken areas of your life with His healing power.
My friend this is a season to allow God to bring you into wholeness. Wholeness comes as a result of an encounter with God. Isaiah encountered the holiness of God when He saw the Lord “high and lifted up and His train filled the temple.” Our heart is revealed when we get a glimpse of His heart. God encounters us and convicts us so that He can restore us and bring us into wholeness. Psalms 23:3 reads, “He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
Allow me to encourage you to invite the Lord into the areas of our lives that have been broken and into the areas where we are incomplete.

- We have been broken through depression, discouragement, and hope deferred.
- We have been broken through disappointments.
- We have been broken through financial difficulties, family problems, and stressful situations.
