John 10:10 – “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” In our study of the Scriptures, we learn that God desires to bless His children. Proverbs 10:22 says, “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” A blessed life will be an abundant life. To be blessed “speaks of our inner state of well-being, the prosperity of our souls in Christ. Blessedness comes from unhindered fellowship with God the Father through our Lord Jesus. To be blessed is to experience the full impact of God’s presence in our lives now and for all eternity.” [1] John 10:10 from the Message Bible reads, “A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy.
