Exodus 3:14-15 – And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’” In praying about this new year, the Lord began to speak to me about three things, covenant, commitment, and commissioning. In the Word of God, the number 26 is the numerical equivalent of the name of God in Hebrew. It is the sum of the Hebrew letters, YHWH. Yod = 10, Hei =5, Vav = 6, Hei = 5 = 26. This is the personal name of God. In English we add vowels and get the names, Yahweh or Jehovah.
