--> Revelation 4:1, “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Revelation 2-3, the Apostle John records the words of the resurrected Christ to seven churches. He speaks personally to each of these seven churches. In Revelation 4:1 something changes. The scene changes from earth to heaven. The Apostle John is called up to the throne of God. G. R. Beasley writes, “It is evident that a new beginning in the book of Revelation is made at 4:1. A door in heaven is opened to enable the prophet to enter its portals and see what transpires in heaven, that he may understand what takes place on earth.” [i] God is in charge of the ages. ...
