2 Peter 3:18 – “But
grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
In 2 Peter 3:18
the Apostle Peter writes, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.” We cannot
remain in the same place in our spiritual life.
We must grow in our walk and relationship with the Lord Jesus
Christ. We are called to advance in the
kingdom. We were saved to make forward
progress. Too many in the Body of Christ
are saved and satisfied today.
God is calling
you to a new place in your walk of faith.
God’s will for you can be found in Psalms 118:5, “I called on the Lord
in distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.” The King James Version reads, “…. and set me in a large place.” We
must be ready to enlarge our capacity to know God. Psalms 18:19 says, “He brought me forth also into a large place;
He delivered me, because He delighted in me.”
How do we enter
into this large place?” We must learn to still ourselves in His presence and
listen to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Revelation 3:6 says, “He that has
an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” We partner with God
in our spiritual growth in grace. Matthew
5:6 reads, “Blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” We must
make a conscience decision to pursue God with our whole heart.

It was said of
Caleb in Joshua 14:8, “but I wholly followed the Lord my God.” God is
searching for a people today who will wholly (wholeheartedly) follow the Lord. Jeremiah 29:12 – 13 says, “Then you will call
upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek
Me and find Me, when
you search for Me with all your heart.” What happens when we seek the Lord
with our whole heart? Jeremiah 29:14
reveals the answer, “I will be found by you, says the Lord…”
