Lamentations 3:21-24 – “This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘Therefore I hope in Him!’” The mercy of God is an inexhaustible fountain that flows freely and abundantly. The Prophet Jeremiah writes in Lamentations 3:22, “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.” We become recipients of this mercy when we pray and receive the miracle of salvation. Psalms 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?
