Psalms 150:1-3 – “Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!” Our God is worthy of to be praised. The Psalmist encourages us “to praise him according to His excellence greatness.” Approximately 791 times in the Scriptures we are instructed to praise, sing, rejoice, and celebrate the Lord. We were created to give Him glory. We are called to worship and give Him praise. Jesus told the Samaritan women at the well in John 4:23, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” – You become like what you worship.
