Entering into 2017 - The Year to War for Breakthrough

Hebrews 4:12 – “For the word of God  is  living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." I believe it is important that we take time to pray and listen to what the Spirit is saying to the church for 2017. You may say, “I’m still looking for the fulfillment of last year’s promises.”   I believe that year’s promises overlap and we build on them. The lessons we learned last year become a foundation for where we are going in the coming new season. We need prophetic direction because we are in what 2 Timothy 3:1 defines as “perilous times.”  In 1 Kings 22:7 King Jehoshaphat was in a tough place with two other kings.  The King made this statement. “Is there not still a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of Him?” Like King Jehoshaphat and these two kings we are in a very difficult place.  We need to hear the word of the

In this new year, He long
