Amazing Truth - Beth Bailey

Amazing Truth God is sovereign. God is in control of all things. He limits Himself only to give us the power of choice. He alone is the One True God, and through Him we have been given life. I am His child. Asking Jesus to become Lord of our lives establishes a covenant relationship that places us in the Kingdom of God. We have all the rights and privileges decreed in the covenant. The Bible details the promises of freedom and protection we can experience concerning the covenant. Through this relationship God also speaks to our hearts. Psalm 27:8 beautifully says, “My heart has heard you say, ‘Come and talk with me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’” Everything will be all right. We never have to fear anything. Regardless of what may happen to us or around us, we can remain confident that God will take care of us. The Kingdom of God cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28). “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His p

Give Me My Mountain - 2015

Give Me My Mountain          One of the most fascinating stories in the Old Testament is the story of Caleb.   It is a story of victory, perseverance, and reward. It teaches that God keeps His Word to the believer who stays faithful to Him. Caleb realized His prophetic promise when he was 85 years old. He experienced a long delay, but he was not denied. Joshua 24:12 records his words, “ Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day.”  This mountain was his promised inheritance. Like Caleb, you have a promised inheritance.          What is your promised inheritance?  Psalms 2:8 reveals one of the promises, “Ask of Me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the ends of the earth as your possession.”  A part of your inheritance is the harvest that God has appointed for you to reap. I believe many of you are like Caleb. You have carried long term promises that God has kept for this hour, and is now going to bring them forth.          Y

Entering into 2016 - A Year to Stake Your Claim

Isaiah 54:1-3 – “Sing, O barren, You  who  have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You  who  have not labored with child! For more  are  the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. 2  “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. 3  For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.”           This year is the year to “Stake Your Claim.”   In Hebrews 11:6 we learn, “Without faith it is impossible to please God.”   This year we are going to stake our claim and secure our future.   We are going to make declarations of faith in advance of our breakthrough.             Isaiah 54:2-3 from the Message Bible reads, “Clear lots of ground for your tents!  Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent p
